We are looking for a Computer/Lan Technician in our Endicott, NY office. Our Company provides technology services to consumers and small businesses throughout the upstate NY area. All applicants must have an A+ certification and a valid DLIC. Must be comfortable with troubleshooting network and Windows OS environments. – OS; Windows XP – 10, Server 2003 – 2012, and Linux
– Networking; ie: DNS, DHCP, WAN, LAN, TCP/IP, Port Forwarding, IPv4, Firewall, File Sharing, Router configuration, Wireless, etc
– iPads, iPods and other Devices
– Printers; Trouble Shooting and Sharing
– Cabling; Ability to run and terminate Cat5e and Coax
– Ability to work with Ladders and Heights and Confined spaces
– Ability to hang or mount tv/lcds to walls or ceilings
– Ability to lift servers/printers (around 50lbs)
– Virus Removal
– Component replacements; Motherboards, Screens, Power supplies,etc

Qualifications:
– Minimum of 2 year experience (or equivalent technical training)
– 2 year of related experience in a customer service environment
– Strong computer skills; Excel, Word, Access, Google Apps, email, chat, office365 etc
– Successfully pass our technical test and complete our interview process
– Must pass drug test and pass criminal background check
