Founded in 1989, Southern Tier Hardwoods is a wholesale/retail supplier of hardwood lumber, and manufacturer of high-quality wood products. Our facility is located in Apalachin, New York, centrally located between Binghamton and Owego.
We provide a number of products and services to our customers, including hardwood lumber, architectural millwork, interior and exterior doors, table and counter tops, stair parts, cabinet doors, as well as domestic and international shipping materials.
Homeowners, Hobbyists, Contractors, and Commercial customers are all welcome, as our operation is tailored to accommodate orders big and small. Our retail board room is open 5 days a week for customers to pick from our stock of hardwood lumber and premade mouldings. Delivery services are also available for our customers, with our distribution area spanning upstate New York, northern Pennsylvania, and New York City.
We make this all possible with a fully equipped millwork facility, our expert team of woodworking specialists, and a warehouse fully stocked with a variety of domestic and imported hardwoods. From one off pieces to full production runs, we make it our goal to fulfill our customers’ needs big and small.
